Hope everyone is enjoying their co-op terms and respective classes, here’s a quick update from your society!

ESSCO AGM is coming up next month, and at ESSCO AGM you can run for ESSCO exec positions! If you are interested in running for an ESSCO position, please contact Ian Hillier. Conestoga has pretty good rapport with the other schools so you would run a good chance at being elected!

Quick message to first and 2nd years; now that you are on your 1st and 2nd co-op terms respectively you should really think about making a LinkedIn account – it’s a great way to keep a track of your personal portfolio and business connections:

Have you signed up for LinkedIn.com yet? LinkedIn is like Facebook for businesses. It acts as your “digital resume” online and can help you get jobs! It’s a great way to network and connect with other students, professionals and potential employers! We have a group on the site that you should sign up for once your registered: CES LinkedIn Group. Having these groups and associations on your profile show potential employers that you are involved with professional activities and are a step above the rest!

There will be a meeting this Thursday in A2230 at 5:00PM. If your interested in helping out with Frosh this year let us know! An official invite/form will go out soon.
