Constitution Amendment

The proposed amendment is to add the following section to the constitution. This prevents potentially corrupt executive from dissolving the society and stealing the assets.
DISSOLUTION OF THE SOCIETY
The Society will be dissolved upon resolution of a referendum where no less than two thirds (2/3) of the active members must agree. All liabilities will be honoured and the remaining assets will be held in trust by the Chair of Engineering for the best interest of the engineering students.
